Censorship

For many Iranians, censorship cannot be separated from how we negotiate our everyday existence. The active censorship of expression and bodies in art, cinema and literature throughout Iran’s tumultuous political history is a kind of choreographed disappearing, mediated by the active process of elimination and re-working.
