Mourning

A digital retrospective on ritualized mourning featuring  interdisciplinary works by 10 Iranian artists in a joint exploration on the language of mourning and the ways in which we use our sadness to survive. Through this group exhibition, we studied the embedded rituals of the one that is missing: laws and encoded behaviours behind mourning in Iranian society, which play such an integral role in daily negotiations of love and loss.
